Experienced Level Designer

Streum On Studio is looking for an experienced Level Designer.

Description

For his new FPS, Streum on Studio is looking for a Level Designer. As a Level Designer you will be responsible of the gameplay in respect of the creative vision.

Responsibilities:

Create the Level Design in respect with the creative resume.
Communicate with the creative director and the Game Designer.
Keep updated the operational documentation(plan, LD briefing...).
Transpose the wanted gameplay into the levels of the game.
Manage the learning curve, the rhythm, the challenge and the difficulty of the levels.
Analyse data/features and inform the dedicated team (Game designer, Gameplay programmers... ).
Ensure the levels are working correctly (features, versioning, debug...).

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of significative experience in Level Design ( professional/amateur/mod projects).
Good knowledge of the Unreal Engine 4 (blueprints...).
Familiar with Photoshop (or equivalent).
To be curious, dynamic, determined and proactive.
Strong knowledge in First Person Shooter(FPS).
Adaptive to technical, creative and editorial constraints.
Good team-player attitude and communication skills (oral and written).

Pluses:

Knowledge in scripting/programming languages (C++ or other).
Previous level design experience on a FPS.

You will join a team of 15 peoples.
We are based at Nogent sur Marne (94, easy access to RER A and E from and to Paris).
